You can delete the data MarketingBuddy holds about you at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
If you have a MarketingBuddy account
- Delete your account. In Settings → Account, choose Delete account. It ends your subscription, removes every connection, revokes MarketingBuddy’s access at the services that allow it, signs you out and deletes your workspace. What remains is deleted within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
- Disconnect one service. In Integrations, Disconnect deletes the connection’s stored credentials and, where the service allows it, ends MarketingBuddy’s access there too.
- Wipe the workspace. In Settings → Business context, Wipe this workspace deletes the business’s data and keeps your account.
If you connected Facebook, Instagram or Threads
Remove MarketingBuddy in your settings: on Facebook, Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites; on Instagram, Settings → Apps and websites; on Threads, Settings → Account → Website permissions. Choose Remove, and ask for your data to be deleted. Meta tells us, and we delete the connection and the posts, insights, messages and comments we synced from it. Meta gives you a link back to this page with a confirmation code to follow the request.
Google and other services
You can remove MarketingBuddy’s access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and in the app or connection settings of any other service you connected. That stops further access; to delete what was already synced, delete the relevant workspace data, delete your account or contact us. Disconnecting removes credentials and stops future access; it does not necessarily erase all reports, history or files previously synced.
